I really want to open up to you guy's about the struggles I have personally had with my own hair growing up. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to having to constantly straighten, blow dry, or curl your hair everyday. Not everyone is lucky enough to wake up in the morning and have their hair just perfect naturally. Don't even get me started on trying to grow your hair because for someone like me it has been a very difficult process. I'm currently a senior in college and since sixth grade I have not been able to have naturally long hair past my shoulders. My junior year in high school I began wearing extensions every single day and became so insecure to the fact that I couldn't go out without them in so I would sacrifice things like going in the pool at a friends house or party because I had to have my extensions in at all times.

With that all said I have finally given up the extensions and after a year my hair is longer and healthier then ever! For this post I'm going to share with you what I did, how I dealt with it, and how simple it can be for anyone to follow!

So to start my journey off I'm going to talk about these amazing, delicious, little blue gummy bears. Growing up I knew a lot of girls who took Biotin for hair growth, but I wasn't always sure if it was safe, or how it worked. I eventually took the initiative to talk to my doctor about it before taking them. I can say 100% that I live by these things. I know I'll have people say oh it's all in your head it doesn't actually work, which is fair to say everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I personally feel like they have worked and have helped a lot with keeping my hair healthy. I have it set on re-order for each month! So check them out try it for a month if you want and see how you feel!

The next step is super simple! So the first day I wash my hair with just shampoo on the top of my head and then let the water wash it out of my hair. I follow it with conditioner only at the end of my hair and same thing, I let the water wash it out. The second day I ONLY wash the end of my hair with conditioner. It isn't good to shampoo your hair everyday because it is taking the natural oils out. Once I'm out of the shower I only air dry my hair never blow dry your hair because the heat burns and kills your hair as well.

Once your out of the shower and all dried off take a small amount of this and run it through all of your hair. I find it to be really good with frizz and fly away baby hairs. Plus argan oil is very goo for your hair!

Now for those days where you do have to straighten, blow dry, or curl your hair this stuff is great! I use it as a hair replenisher if I feel like I really damaged my hair that day. Take this coconut oil and rub it all in your hair. Let it sit for bout forty minutes, then get in the shower shampoo twice, condition once, rinse and your all set!

Just some helpful little side notes as well! When you go to bed it is actually bad to sleep on your hair because it'll break surprisingly. You want to wear your hair up in a bun to bed whether it is dry or wet. If using a straightener just set it to the lowest heat possible and go over pieces of your hair much slower. This way you aren't burning your hair as bad!

I hope my hair techniques help you in anyway possible! I have always wanted long, healthy hair my whole life and was jealous of girls who were blessed to have it without trying. You can do anything you want including have beautiful long hair! You just have to be super dedicated and stick with it. I probably have another year until I have the length I want, but I know I'll get there eventually!
